On the following pages readers will find a series of brief profiles of outstanding nurses, doctors, volunteers, administrators, physical therapists and professionals in complementary medicine, among others. They are the recipients of the Annual Healthcare Hero awards, an event organized annually by Oswego County Business magazine and In Good Health—CNY Healthcare Newspaper. A panel of independent judges, following guidelines provided by the organizers, selects the winners based on nominations submitted by patients, colleagues and the general public.
